The creator program welcomes LGBTQ+ creators from Thailand and around the world to Chiang Mai, Thailand.+ creators (aka gaybors) from Thailand and around the world to document and share their journey while exploring a destination celebrated for its natural beauty, rich culture and vibrant LGBTQ+ community. From lush mountains and colorful markets to inspiring creative spaces, Chiang Mai offers a unique place to visit, create and connect.
Often referred to as the Land of Smiles, Thailand is recognized as one of the world’s most LGBTQ+ welcoming destinations. Its culture of openness and inclusivity allows creators to feel safe, supported and free to be themselves while creating content that captures authentic experiences and meaningful connections.

GAYBORS VILLA
The Gaybors Villa in Chiang Mai is a welcoming home designed to bring people together. The villa offers an inclusive environment that fosters connection, creativity and community, while also serving as a gathering space for events with the local LGBTQ+ community.
CO-WORKING SPACE
The co-working space is designed to support productivity, creativity and meaningful connection. More than a traditional workspace, it’s an intentionally built environment where members of the LGBTQ+ community can create, collaborate, connect and build chosen family.
STIPEND
Creators receive a stipend that can be used to explore Chiang Mai and create content throughout Thailand, encouraging authentic storytelling and cultural discovery. Whether connecting with local LGBTQ+ communities, discovering new destinations, supporting LGBTQ+ friendly and owned businesses
HEALTH & WELLNESS
Rooted in wellness and balance, this experience creates space to nurture the mind, body and soul. Creators are encouraged to leverage the program as an opportunity for healing, personal growth, self-discovery and joy within a supportive and welcoming community.
GROUP TRIPS
Creators can join group trips designed to explore some of Thailand’s most beautiful and culturally rich destinations. Throughout these shared experiences, creators engage with local culture, discover regional traditions and explore Thailand’s gayborhoods in meaningful and memorable ways.
RETREATS
The Gaybors Group retreats in Chiang Mai invite LGBTQ+ attendees into intentionally affirming spaces that encourage honest conversations about the real challenges facing the community while celebrating the important role attendees play in creating visibility for the gayborhood.
